Iain Daly and Mark Dowd have joined Anthony Cunningham on the management ticket for the Roscommon senior football team.

Roscommon GAA has confirmed that Daly, who led Michael Glavey’s to county and provincial intermediate glory 12 months ago, has accepted Cunningham’s invitation to be part of the management set-up.

Dowd, who led the Roscommon U-21 footballers to Connacht championship glory in 2015,  has also agreed to become one of the Rossies’ selectors for 2019.

Both men are highly regarded coaches in the county, and their appointment will be widely welcomed as Cunningham continues to strengthen his backroom team ahead of the new season.

Noel Flynn will be the team’s strength and conditioning coach.
