Storm Ciara caused the cancellation of Roscommon’s fixtures in both the Camogie and Ladies Football National Leagues at the weekend, with no confirmation of re-fixtures for either team at the time of going to press.

The junior camogie team were due to travel to the Faithful Fields facility in Offaly to take on the home side in their first round clash in Division Three of the Littlewoods National League, but as the Camogie Association took the decision to postpone all games, the weekend of February 29th and March 1st is now being discussed as a possible option for the re-fixture.

Roscommon’s home fixture against Cavan on Saturday February 22nd will now be the first competitive tie of the year for Karol Collins’ side.

Several games did take place in the Lidl LGFA National Leagues, but all four Division Three fixtures went by the wayside. Roscommon were due to play Fermanagh in Derrygonnelly, but they will now have to replay this game either next weekend, on the weekend of the 29th/1st, or as a last resort, on March 14th/15th.
