The Mayo Roscommon Hospice is to reopen all 12 of its on-street shops on Tuesday, June 9th.
The hospice’s finances have been gutted since the shops closed in March due to Covid-19 restrictions. The shops usually make enough to cover administration costs and leave some over for the service, the charity’s head of fundraising, Angelina Nugent, said.
The shops will reopen with all the necessary procedures and protections in place for customers, staff and volunteers, a post on the foundation’s social media page says.
“We ask that donations are only dropped to shops during opening hours and not left outside when shops are closed,” it adds.
