It seems that some clubs in County Roscommon are well on their way in terms of making preparations for the possible return of GAA action to their grounds later this year.

In Western Gaels, they seem to be in overdrive at the moment.

Only a few weeks ago, the club posted a picture of its perfectly manicured pitch at Nash Park, a surface that would give Dr. Hyde Park or Croke Park are run for their money.

Now, the club has showcased its brand new toilet block on social media alongside revealing the news that work on a car park is well underway.

Someone is certainly eating their spinach around Frenchpark, Ballinagare, Tiobhine and Fairymount these days.

“Some more great work being done in Frenchpark for when we return!!

“As you are well aware we need the support and funds to do these things! So support Western Gaels today and enter the club lotto on Clubforce,” the club posted on Facebook and Twitter.

When all this blows over, Western Gaels can reflect on a job well done. The club certainly hasn’t been lying idle, and the work isn’t finished yet!
