Teams will know their respective roadmaps for possible championship glory later this summer when the draws for the Roscommon senior, intermediate and Junior A football championships take place later this evening. The draw for the senior hurling championship will also take place.

The draw will take place in the pressbox area of Dr. Hyde Park at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the Roscommon GAA Facebook page.

Representatives from the various clubs attending this evening’s draw have been requested to adhere to social distancing measures when in the stand at the front of the press box. Entry to Dr. Hyde Park will be from the Athlone Road side of the ground — the gate nearest the town will be open.

The senior hurling championship is scheduled to get underway on July 18th/19th, with the senior, intermediate and Junior A football championships throwing in a week later.

GAA teams across the country are allowed to resume contact training from today.
