Noah (6) and Rowan Benson-Gately (4) were diagnosed with DMD earlier this year.

The fundraising campaign for two young Dysart brothers who were diagnosed with the incurable genetic disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy has reached over €40,000. The fund was only set up on July 10th and has a target of €100,000.

Noah (6) and Rowan Benson-Gately (4), the sons of Bianca and Seán, were diagnosed with DMD, which causes muscles to weaken, in January of this year.

The local community and people across the country have rallied behind the family to launch the online fundraising campaign, and many sporting and television personalities have lent their support too. The funding will be used to support the boys and their family To donate click here.

The Noah and Rowan Benson Gately Support Group held its first fundraiser on the August Bank Holiday with a family fun cycle and walk in Dysart on Sunday, August 2nd. The event was a great success.
