The county’s newest secondary school is almost complete. New pictures of the South Roscommon school show that Coláiste Chiaráin is nearly ready to welcome staff and students back later this month.
The new building will cater for up to 1,000 students and have state of the art facilities. It will have six science labs, as well as specialist rooms for art, home economics, construction studies, design and communication graphics, music, engineering, and technology. It will also have a large gym,
Like all other building sites in the country, work on the Summerhill project had paused earlier this year before recommencing in May.
