Roscommon recorded the second highest temperature in the country today, with 25 degrees. But it was pipped at the post by Carlow with 25.1 degrees.
Resplendent in glorious sunshine today, Mount Dillon in County Roscommon, in the top three yesterday, was the hottest place in the country this afternoon.
Hopefully, there will be more of the same tomorrow.
Met Éireann forecasts that tomorrow morning will start mostly cloudy with some showers.
Bright spells will develop later, however, there is a risk of isolated heavy showers. There will be highs of 18 to 23 degrees in a moderate northeasterly breeze.
