The Roscommon Gaels Senior team manager Liam McNeill is to step down following an “amazing six years” at the helm.
In a statement released this morning (Monday), the club thanked Mr McNeill for his “immense contribution to our club and for his personal commitment and dedication to football in Roscommon Gaels.”
“Even though he didn’t get his hands on the Fahey cup, he made massive progress, bringing the club to two finals, two semi finals and two quarter finals in his 6 year reign,” the statement continued.
The club will now commence the process of replacing Mr McNeill and finding a new management team for the coming season.
