Roscommon’s 14-day Covid-19 incidence rate has risen to 20.1 per 100,000 people – up from 18.6 from the same time last week.

The figures for neighbouring counties are Leitrim 65.5; Galway 19.0; Sligo 3.1; Longford 51.4; Mayo 13.8 and Westmeath 36.0.

Between August 31st and Midnight on September 13th Roscommon saw a reported 13 cases. Leitrim saw a huge jump with 21; Mayo 18; Westmeath 32; Galway 49; Longford 21 and Sligo less than 5.

 A total of 2,383 cases were reported in Ireland from August 31st to September 13th inclusive – 1,282 of which were in Dublin alone, according to HPSC figures.

This is an increase of 711 cases Ireland and 491 cases in Dublin over one week.

Every county in Ireland is now on Level 2 of the Government’s new Covid-19 response plan while Dublin will also see additional measures put in place. Dublin’s 14-day coronavirus incidence rate is now at 95.1, the highest of all of the counties in the Republic.
