Roscommon recorded just one Covid-19 case in yesterday’s figures and has recorded fewer than five cases this evening. The county remains at fourth highest in the 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 of the population at 164.2, behind Donegal, Limerick and Louth. In the 14 days to November 21st the county recorded 106 new Covid-19 cases. The adjoining counties of Leitrim, Sligo, Westmeath and Longford all recorded fewer than five cases this evening while Mayo recorded 7 and Galway, 9.

One additional death related to Covid-19 was notified this evening and there were 318 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

Of the cases notified today;

  • 155 are men / 161 are women
  • 73% are under 45 years of age
  • The median age is 28 years old
  • 126 in Dublin, 45 in Cork, 28 in Limerick, 21 in Donegal, 18 in Kildare and the remaining 80 cases are spread across 18 other counties.

As of 2 p.m. today 282 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 31 are in ICU. Seventeen additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
