Brian Carroll will be raising money for Mayo/Roscommon Hospice
Brian Carroll may be about to become Roscommon County Board Chairperson on Saturday week, but his schedule is already fairly hectic this month.
Every December, Aughrim/Kilmore Hospice Group holds an auction to raise funds for Mayo/Roscommon Hospice. This year will be different, however, as no auction can take place.
To help raise funds and continue the community’s support for Mayo/Roscommon Hospice, the group has organised two unique fundraisers.
Brian Carroll will attempt to walk a minimum of five kilometres every day for the 31 days of December. To sponsor Brian, you can visit the Go Fund me page gofund.me/d262beca.
The Hospice Group is looking for people available to join Brian on any of the daily walks — full HSE guidelines and restrictions will be adhered to.
The group is also organising a unique auction, via WhatsApp, on Friday, December 11th, at 8 p.m..
