Two early goals from Leah Rowe enabled Roscommon power their way into the semi-finals of the Littlewoods Ireland Division Four Camogie League following another comprehensive victory for Frank Browne’s side this afternoon.

Roscommon were 2-17 to 0-4 winners against Kildare at the Kildare GAA Centre of Excellence, Hawkfield, leaving the visitors top of their group after earlier victories against Mayo and Louth.

Oran forward Rowe had two goals to her name inside five minutes as Roscommon made a blistering start, powering their way into a 2-10 to 0-1 interval advantage.

Understandably, Roscommon stepped off the gas in the second half as scores from Shauna Fallon, Kelley Hopkins and Rebecca Brennan confirmed the win.

Tyrone, who were edged out by Cavan this afternoon, await in the semi-finals on Saturday, June 12th. An added bonus for Roscommon is that a limited number of supporters will be permitted to attend that game.
