It’s a big weekend for former Roscommon and St. Brigid’s footballer, Frankie Dolan, as he launches his autobiography, Outside of the Right, on Saturday evening next.
Former Galway All-Ireland winning manager John O’Mahony will officially launch the book in St. Brigid’s GAA Club between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m..
True to form, Frankie spills the beans on matters on and off the field in his own unique, honest style.
But Aidan Tierney, of Tierney Talks fame, has put together a hilarious sketch about one of the book’s chapters where Frankie and his brother Garvan decide to abandon post county final celebrations to join the St. Brigid’s team, managed by current Roscommon senior football manager Anthony Cunningham at the time, for a recovery session in the Hodson Bay Hotel.
“Sauna-gate” features a few well-known international, national and local personalities describing how the “sticky situation” unfolded.
