Roscommon GAA has launched a new drive to raise funds for all clubs in the county.

In a new initiative, Roscommon GAA is providing car and cash prizes as well as technology and marketing so that clubs in the county can raise much-needed funds – 100% of funds raised go to the Clubs.

There is a range of prizes on offer – the first prize in the draw is a choice between a Toyota Yaris or a Volkswagen Polo; 2nd, €2,000; 3rd, €1,000 and 4th, a €300 voucher for Red Mills.

Tickets cost €10 each, 3 for €20 and 8 for €50. Tickets can be purchased online at www.clubrossie.ie/clubcardraw and a limited number of hard copy tickets will be made available to clubs for sale. When a person purchases online they select their preferred club and that club will receive the money paid for those tickets.

Roscommon GAA is covering all the costs of the prizes and also all costs involved with the production of hard copy tickets.

Roscommon GAA Chairperson Brian Carroll has encouraged all clubs “to promote this draw as much as possible within your communities and also reach out to the many people living outside our county with strong links to all our clubs. This is a great opportunity to raise significant finance. Our clubs have all had an extremely difficult time over the last 18 months and hopefully, this is a great opportunity without any expense on any club to raise much-needed funds. Clubs in Roscommon have been unbelievably supportive to Roscommon GAA in our fundraising initiatives. This is a way of giving back.”
