New St. Brigid’s senior football manager Jerome Stack.

St. Brigid’s have turned to the Kingdom for the club’s new senior football manager.

The 2020 county champions have ratified Listowel native, Jerome Stack, who will take over from Benny O’Brien.

Stack led Dromcollogher-Broadford to Limerick senior championship success before taking charge of Na Gaeil in Kerry in recent years.

As a coach, Stack has worked alongside intercounty managers like John Brudair, Tomás Ó Flatharta and John Sugrue.

With a host of young players from last month’s championship-winning U-20 team to call on to add to the experience already within the squad, Stack will feel he has the raw material to work with to wrestle away the initiative from Pádraig Pearses in 2022.
