The cigarette machine from the pub was found with a stolen tailer in Ballintubber this morning.


The owners of a County Roscommon premises raided overnight have urged anyone with any information to please contact them or Gardai.

Well-known Kenny’s Bar in Ballintubber was ransacked overnight with criminals making off with a quantity of cash, cigarettes and a number of personal items.

The cigarette machine, which had been filled with cigarettes, was ripped out from the wall, smashed and then abandoned along with a stolen trailer in the Caran of Ballintubber.

“Our tills have been stolen, our doors have been destroyed, electrical wires have been cut, all rooms have been ransacked, CCTV footage has been taken by the perpetrators, along with personal belongings,”  said Eileen and James Kenny.

The building, which also includes guest accommodation, was unoccupied at the time. The family is eager for anyone with information to get in touch.
