Irish Rail is warning of reduced capacity on local intercity services this evening and tomorrow morning.
This afternoon, Irish Rail said on social media that due to a mechanical issue this evening’s 18:15 Heuston/Westport service will be affected by reduced capacity, as will the 07:15 Westport/Heuston service tomorrow, May 24th.
It also said that three Dublin to Galway services will operate with reduced capacity. These are the Monday, May 23rd 18:30 Heuston – Galway service; the Tuesday, May 24th, 06:25 Galway – Heuston service; and the 07:30 Galway – Heuston service. Irish Rail added that these services will have fewer carriages than planned due to a mechanical issue with the train scheduled to operate these services.
Due to a mechanical issue, the following services will operate with reduced capacity.
