Daire Feeley being presented with his yellow jersey following today’s fourth stage of the Rás Tailteann.

Daire Feeley will wear the yellow jersey going into the final day of the Rás Tailteann on Sunday.

The Roscommon cyclist finished safely in the main bunch following today’s 154 kilometres fourth stage from Lisdoonvarna to Kilbeggan.

There were a number of breaks on today’s stage but Feeley, riding for Cork Velo Revolution, always remained in touch, and as the race headed for Kilbeggan, the main peloton was back together for a sprint finish, which was won by Rory Townsend of Team Ireland.

Feeley is also ahead in the King of the Mountains, points and county rider classifications and will hope to retain his advantage when the race finishes in Dundalk on Sunday for what will be the biggest win in his career.
