The council has given the green light for a 30 metre high telecommunications pole.

In April Vantage Towers Ltd applied to erect the pole along with antennas, dishes and associated telecommunications equipment enclosed by security fencing at Raheen, Elphin.

The council granted permission, subject to 8 conditions, last week.
