Interviews for the position of Roscommon U-20 football manager are expected to take place shortly.

The Roscommon Herald understands that there are four candidates in the running for the post — Noel Dunning (St. Aidan’s), Garreth Carroll (Roscommon Gaels), Liam Tully (Kilbride) and James Martin (St. Brigid’s).

Other candidates were nominated by clubs but weren’t in a position to commit for 2023.

Meanwhile, there’s still no news on who will succeed Anthony Cunningham as the county’s senior football manager.

Pat Flanagan remains the frontrunner, having been nominated by his club, Pádraig Pearses.
