A County Roscommon student has been presented with an Entrance Scholarship to Maynooth University.

Bláithín McElgunn from Curraghroe at-tended Lanesboro Community College. She was presented with an Entrance Scholarship to 1. Maynooth University by the President of Maynooth University, Profes- sor Eeva Leinonen.

An Entrance Scholarship was awarded to 100 students beginning their studies at Maynooth in 2022. They received a €1,000 scholarship for achieving 575 points or more in their Leaving Certificate examinations.
