Kiltrustan NS 6th Class pupil Shay Havlin will have the honour of representing Ireland at the upcoming Antayla Cup Muay-Thai Cup in Turkey.

Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is a combat sport, combining both boxing and kicking.

Shay is a member of the Carrick-on-Shannon Muay Thai club.

His local school are among many supporters who are wishing him well as he heads out to Turkey tomorrow.
