Roscommon Gardaí arrested a suspected drug driver recently.
The Gardaí said members from the Roscommon Roads Policing Unit were carrying out a checkpoint in Strokestown when they stopped a vehicle.
The vehicle was found to have a defective tyre and the driver was arrested for suspected drug driving.
Court proceedings are to follow.
