Three units of the fire service are currently at the scene of a fire on the Roscommon side of Carrick-on-Shannon.

The Roscommon Herald understands that a fire broke out at a business in the Cortober area of Carrick-on-Shannon earlier this evening.

Three units of the fire service, two from Carrick-on-Shannon and one from Elphin are on site.

No one has been hurt in the fire.
