Roscommon senior football manager Davy Burke has provided an injury update on his squad in the aftermath of this afternoon’s victory against Donegal at Dr. Hyde Park.

Having lost Conor Daly before the Kerry game and Daire Cregg last week, the sight of Tadhg O’Rourke hobbling off and the non-appearance of Ben O’Carroll, who has kicked during an impressive opening 35 minutes, for the second half was a worry ahead of the Mayo game in two weeks’ time.

However, while Burke wasn’t in a position to diagnose the extent of O’Rourke’s injury, the other news on the injury front was, in the main, broadly positive.

Conor Daly has returned to full training, while Daire Cregg, who tweaked his hamstring at training last week, hasn’t been ruled out of the Mayo game.

Eddie Nolan has returned to full training, while Burke also confirmed that Ben O’Carroll was taken off to give Donie Smith some game time.
