The Roscommon Community College juvenile football panel that won their Connacht championship at Dr. Hyde Park on Thursday.
Students and staff from a County Roscommon school formed a guard of honour to welcome home their GAA heroes on Thursday evening.
Roscommon Community College defeated Scóil Muire agus Pádraig Swinford by 4-13 to 1-10 at Dr. Hyde Park to capture a Connacht juvenile football title for the first time in the school’s history.
The victory ignited huge celebrations among the players and management, and those celebrations continued when the players returned to their school who described the success as “amazing”.
