Three horses trained by Noel Meade hit the jackpot in Roscommon this evening.
Roscommon’s first race meeting of the season proved to be a memorable one for a well-known Irish trainer as three of his horses netted a near 450/1 treble at the Lenabane track this evening.
Zero Fighter (10/3), Port Louis (7/1) and Pearl Of Australia (12/1) secured the hat-trick for Meath trainer, Noel Meade, inside the first five races of the evening.
Zero Fighter got the ball rolling in the first race — the Roscommon Claiming Maiden — which was quickly followed by Port Louis’ triumph in the Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden before Pearl Of Australia took the fifth race of the evening — the Shanagher Hearing Maiden.
There was a fine crowd in attendance on what was a perfect evening for racing.
