One of County Roscommon’s most highly respected and emerging officials will take charge of next Friday evening’s Connacht minor football final.
Dermot Lyons from Castlerea St. Kevin’s GAA Club will be the man in the middle for the eagerly anticipated clash between Mayo and Galway, which is a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland final at Dr. Hyde Park.
Friday evening’s game throws in at Tuam Stadium at 7 p.m..
Lyons will be assisted by a team of umpires from the St. Kevin’s club, which includes Marty Connelly, P Gunning, Jamie Flannery, Paddy Duignan, Bill Kelly, Brian Stenson and Danny Burke.
