Garda appeal continues forty years on from death of Ann Lovett
On January 31 1984, exactly 40 years ago today, 15-year-old schoolgirl Ann Lovett was found dead alongside her stillborn baby near a grotto in Granard, Co. Longford.
The tragic death of the young mother and her baby shocked the nation to its core and forty years on, Gardai are still appealing to people to come forward if they have any information about her death.
