Missing 70-year-old vintage post office sign found
The vintage post office sign has been found in Roscommon Town
A public appeal for information on the whereabouts of a 70-year-old vintage sign that went missing from the rear of the former Roscommon Town Post Office on The Square has led to its successful return.
It was confirmed on Thursday that the missing “no parking” sign, which was listed as a protected structure by Roscommon County Council, was found and has been returned.
It’s understood that the 1950s sign was on the original gate before being installed on the current gate in the early 1970s.
