A handcrafted witch stolen on Tuesday from outside a house in Roscommon Town has been recovered - battered and bruised but on the mend for Halloween tonight!
Well known Roscommon designer Michelle Fallon was "absolutely devastated" after the witch she had spent hours handcrafting had been taken from outside her mother's house on the Lanesboro Road in the town.
But thanks to a successful witch hunt, which went viral on social media, the witch was found on Wednesday, dumped on the side of the road and badly damaged.
On social media, Michelle showed how she was working hard to reassemble the witch, saying there was “some serious work to do to get this witch ready for her important night”.
“And thank you so so much to the lovely lady who went to the bother of tracking me down at my house this afternoon to tell me where she seen it. You are an absolute gem xxx,” she said.
